Beth Underhill Selected as Jump Canada Young Rider Development Program Advisor
After opening the newly created position of Young Rider Development Program Advisor for application, Jump Canada performed an extensive interview and assessment process. Underhill was ultimately chosen as the successful candidate.
In addition to her impressive resume as a rider, Underhill is committed to helping the next generation of show jumping athletes. She operates Beth Underhill Stables in Schomberg, ON, offering full-service boarding, training and coaching to hunter, jumper, and equitation clients of all levels, and is especially passionate about helping junior riders come up through the ranks.
Through the position of Young Rider Development Program Advisor, Underhill will be responsible for generating enthusiasm and participation in FEI Children’s, Junior and Young Rider competition amongst Canada’s up and coming riders. Including talent identification, support, and mentorship will be some of Underhill’s main responsibilities, and she will work closely with young riders, trainers, parents, and owners in order to facilitate the development of competitive teams and individuals for FEI competition.
